How to generate DTMF tones with Express Talk on the Mac?

How do I generate the tones needed in order to log into ZBP using this program? The help suggests that, once connected, I should be able to enter the numbers in the "dial" entry area. When I do this and hit the "dial" button, Express Talk makes another connection to ZBP on the next available "line". Maybe someone can suggest another SIP client?
